Salon Policies

Please note that first time clients may be required to fill out a new client form and/or service waiver. This waiver is put in place to protect our staff and clients. Refusal to sign this waiver will result in your services not being completed until the waiver is signed.

Booking policy

Appointments bookings can be made via the salon telephone 01282 787395 all bookings made through the salon phone during salon opening times will have priority booking. We require a deposit for all bookings made in salon or via the telephone. Only appointments made on the day upto 3 hours before the service or walk ins will not require a deposit.

Any bookings made through facebook text message or via whatsapp MUST be confirmed via the salon phone during opening times if a response with CONFIRMED DATE TIME STYLIST has not been received.

Skin/strand test policy

We offer a free 15 minute consultation to all of our customers, during this consultation you will be required to have a skin test if you require any colour treatments, your information will be stored on file for future reference. A strand test for several hair tests will be carried out if we feel the need to do so. It is your responsibility to be honest about your chemichal treatment history as we cannot accept any liability if full honesty has not been disclosed- we will not carry out any colour service if this skin test has not been carried out 24 hours prior to your colour service. If you book an appointment and do not attend for your skin test you will lose your deposit. We have the right to refuse to do any service to our professional knowledge if we think it is not safe to do so.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours notice for cancellation of your scheduled services in order to avoid a late cancellation fee or loosing your deposit. Clients cancelling with less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will be required to pay 50% of the services reserved in order to continue booking services at hollywood hair studio.

If you have booked your appointment with less than 24 hours between your booking time and scheduled appointment you are required to cancel 3 hours before your service start time to avoid the late cancellation fee.

Appointments booked with less than 3 hours of time between when the appointment was made, and when the appointment was scheduled to take place are not subject to this policy. While there is no fee applied for these cancellations, you may be required to leave a credit card on file in order to book future appointments if this happens more than once.

Please note that cancellations can only be made through calling the salon. We DO NOT accept cancellations by facebook or text message.

Late Arrivals

If you think you may be late for your appointment, please call the salon and let us know. We will call any late clients 5 minutes into their scheduled start time, but if we have not been able to contact you, your appointment time may be reopened and/or given away. If you show up late for your appointment your services may be altered to fit the remaining time. If this happens you will still be responsible for the full amount of the services booked.

No Shows

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointments, without contacting the salon to cancel, you will be subject to pay the FULL AMOUNT of the services reserved. You will be also be required to have a credit card on file to secure any future bookings. Please note that to cancel your appointments during hollywood open hours, we do require a phone call in order to late cancel your appointments.

Clients who no show on more than one occasion will be required to pay in full before any appointments are booked


We have a no refund policy on services completed at our salons. We offer complimentary fixes within 3 working days of the service completion pending management approval.


All products are non- refundable.


We will not tolerate any rude behaviour aggression or swearing towards any member of staff or other customer. You will be asked to leave immediately and the police may be contacted if any member of the salon or customer does not feel safe.

Child policy

we love children and we hope you understand we cannot assure their safety in the salon. We also we do not want to compromise the relaxation and salon experience of other guests.Children are only permitted in the salon when accompanied by a responsible adult over 18 years of age. For safety reasons ans insurance purposes all children must be supervised. We do not have the facilities to care for your children your understanding is greatly appreciated.
